Ahorn Lifts

The Ahorn lifts are simply gigantic........

...with comfortable room for 160 (!!) persons, the Ahorn Lifts in Mayrhofen have the largest gondolas in Austria. Not only that, the entire Ahorn ski region is equipped with artificial snow making facilities.

Technical tour of the lifts

For all those interested in the mechanics of Austria's largest cable car, there is a technical tour of the lifts every Tuesday at 11.00 a.m. Meeting point is at the base station of the Ahorn lifts. Because the complete drive system is located in the upper terminal, a lift pass will be required.

Café Ahornbahn

Whenever the weather is bad, the Ahorn lifts are transformed in to a floating café, with drinks, cakes and lounge music. One drink is included in the ticket price.
