The top stations of Penken and Ahorn Cable Cars are also great starting points for numerous mountain tours and walks.
The Zillertal Alps are dominated by a very unique flora and fauna. As well as rare animal species, brightly coloured flowers such as gentian and alpine arnica as well as the more seldom sight of wild orchids can be enjoyed whilst walking in the region.
