A dream come true for cross country ski enthusiasts of all ages - the trails at Burgsschrofen in Schwendau near the Burgstallschrofen chapel.
There are trails in total for sprinting and skating in the Burgstallschrofen area, three of which are floodlit at night.
- Burgschrofen Marathon trail (partially lit)
- Burgschrofen Profi trail
- Burgschrofen Sprint trail and
- Burgschrofen Pleasure trail

Those who prefer more challenging routes will probably want to try out the so-called "High Trails". They are only a few kilometres away and are more difficult due to their geographic location and offer plenty of variety.
