A dream come true for cross country ski enthusiasts of all ages - the new trails in Burgstall near the Burgstallschrofen Chapel in Schwendau.
There will be four new trails in total for sprinting and skating in the Burgstallschrofen area, three of which will be floodlit at night.
- Burgschrofen Marathon trail (unlit)
- Burgschrofen Profi trail
- Burgschrofen Sprint trail and
- Burgschrofen Pleasure trail
The floodlit night trails are open daily until 22.00 hrs.
Those who prefer more challenging routes will probably want to try out the so-called "High Trails". They are only a few kilometres away and are more difficult due to their geographic location and offer plenty of variety.
