High Alpine Nature Park of the Zillertal
In Ginzling - Mayrhofen-Hippach Holiday Resort
The Nature Park and Ginzling Council administration departments are located at the Nature Park House as well as an Alpine and Regional library. The focal point of this building, however, is a modern and family friendly exhibition.
Nature Park Exhibition
This is no conventional exhibition
No display cabinets, no boring information boards or signs that say “Please do not touch” – Far from it! This is an exhibition that is intended to be seen, touched and understood in the truest sense of the words. Enjoy searching for the lost expedition in the Zillertal Alps using many interactive and multimedia-based stations.
At the same time you can find out interesting information as well as discovering some quite surprising facts about the region’s history and the elements of nature: Who were the first tourists in Zillertal? What life forms can be found at 3,000 metres above sea level? What secret is hidden in the “Tauern Window”? And where will Zillertal be in 10 million years?
Answers to these and many other fascinating questions can be found by visitors of all ages at the exhibition, making it particularly attractive for families and school trips.
