Schürzenjäger Open Air 2013
The green pastures if the Finkenberg Plateau will again be providing the natural stage for the 4th Alpine Rock spectacle: as always, with the traditional Sound Check Party with the "Zillertaler Mander" and obligatory world record attempt in Boarischen dance on the day before and festival appearances by the many well known musical guests, with the Schürzenjäger Concert highlight on Saturday!
As one would expect, the four guys from Schürzenjäger have not been resting on their laurels and will again be offering a top class programme. The line-up consists of five acts, with Austro Pop and classic Zillertal folk music jostling for space in this eclectic programme, with something to suit all tastes.
- Mario & Christoph: two experienced musicians from the former „Alpentrio Tirol“ band
- Stodlgang! is the name of this new band, which formed in July 2012 during the Schürzenjäger-Open Air in Pfersch in South Tyrol.
- Dominik Ofner plays both guitar and harmonica and sings a whole range of songs, from romantic ballads to party tunes.
- The Zellberg Buam are three bona fide Zillertal musicians who will be rocking the festival stage.
- DIE FETZIG’N ZILLERTALER - These three young thoroughbred musicians will be celebrating a festival of folk music with great song, violin and Styrian harmonica.
- The highlight of the festival will be when Alf Eberharter junior and Alfred Eberharter senior storm the stage with the band to give it their all. The Rebellion Continues! as they start, accompanied by the sound of roaring Harley engines:
The show will, of course, include some classic Schürzenjäger hits as well as their new repertoire, when they celebrate their Festival of Friendship at Finkenberg Open-Air.

Hooo Ruck Concerts 2014
While walking through Mayrhofen it seems like music is coming from every house. It gets even louder if you pass the „Hooo Ruck“ house - home to the Aschenwald Family. Erwin Aschenwald is a top musician, poet, composer and THE original "Zillertaler".
Together with his sons, Erwin Aschenwald jun., Michael Aschenwald and friends, Thomas Partl and Ulli Huber, die Mayrhofner dominate the folk music scene with their unique sound.
Die Mayrhofner make the kind of music that (unfortunately) is only seldom heard.
