Zillertal village festivals are known and loved for their welcoming hospitality, speceial atmosphere and last but not least, for their regional specialities. The Schwendau Krapfenfest (crepe festival) is a high point in the summer calendar and popular with locals and visitors alike.
The rural Schwendau village centre and legendary Zillertaler Krapfen - sweet or cheesy - only one of the many culinary highlights amongst the many fresh, local and homemade specialities on offer at the Schwendau Food Festival - a special day out for everyone.
Grown ups will appreciate a drop (or two) of Schwendau"s finest distillates, served personally by none other than the master schnapps makers personally!
