The Incredible Eagles Stage at Mount Ahorn.

Birds of prey up close.

Eagles, hawks and owls are the stars of the Eagle"s Stage on the leisure Mount Ahorn in Mayrhofen. This unique attraction draws up to 800 enthusiastic spectators per show during the summer months, with birds of prey performing spectacular arerial manoeuvres.
Not only that, you can get to know these animals intimately during a three day workshop with falconer, Didi Wechselberger. An unforgettable experience for children and adults alike.

Shows take place here from the mid of June to the mid of October every day in summer at 14.00 hrs (apart from Fridays) and are simply unique, not just because of the daring aerial acrobatics. Spectators will discover a great deal about the behaviour and habits of these animals and the delicate balance of our ecosystem. What makes this show particularly special is that the falconer always invoves the audience in the action. After it is over, visitors can have a look around the area and ask the experts any questions they may have.

The Eagle`s Stage is perfectly integrated in the environment at Mount Ahorn, the leisure mountain of Mayrhofen. Guests can enjoy spectacular views of the Zillertal Alps and glacier capped peaks of the Hintertux mountains from this sunny plateau at 2,000 metres above sea level. The Eagle`s Stage at Ahorn fits perfectly into the original mountain landscape, constructed using only natural building materials such as wood, stone and earth.
