Getting married


in the Mayrhofen-Hippach holiday resort

Interested in planning that big and important "wedding" day, perhaps even here in the Zillertal, in the Mayrhofen-Hippach Holiday Region?

 

There is no problem whatsoever in "tying the knot" here providing you apply for the necessary documentation from your local registry office and records office; and send them to us at the Registry Office (Standesamt) approx. 21 - 14 days before the date of your wedding.
You can marry at anytime, except on Sundays and public holidays.

 

In addition, we require 2 witnesses for the wedding ceremony - still compulsory in Austria: we only need the name and place of residence of both witnesses (if the witnesses are from abroad, they should also bring their passports to the ceremony).

 


It is also important to provide the holiday address at the time of the marriage ceremony

Once you have fulfilled all these requirements, there is nothing to prevent you finally getting married and enjoying the romance of the Tyrolean Mountains.

In days gone by, the Concierge was the doorman or gatekeeper of a castle. Nowadays, the Concierge service has mainly established itself at up-market restaurants and hotels. The duties of a Concierge are extensive and he is exclusively there to look after the welfare of his guests. He is customer orientated, discreet, polite and courteous.

The registry offices in the newly renovated, listed Town Hall building in Mayrhofen certainly offer the perfecr ambience for an unforgettable civil ceremony.

Costs: Depending on the charges that have to be made for your documentation and on the location chosen for the wedding ceremony, are between €170 and €250.
