Weitental: Valley of idyll & flower splendor

Description

Colorful alpine flowers, a waterfall and marmots guaranteed!

our exciting tour begins after a short gondola ride to the Sommerbergalm. The first section leads us up an educational experience trail of the Tux World. Leaving this trail, we can already see the Tuxer-Joch-Haus, which offers great views of the surrounding mountains. From the refuge we descend into the idyllic Weitental valley, which has a lot to offer. In addition to the many colorful alpine flowers, a large marmot team inhabits the valley. We will certainly be able to observe the marmots while eating, playing or during one of their sunbaths. Another highlight is the gorge at the end of the valley. The hiking trail winds along the stream, which digs deeper and deeper into its bed and plunges into the depths over the Waterfall. From the waterfall, we leisurely make our way through alpine pastures and a sparse mountain forest back to Hintertux.
