Mayrhofen has long been a cult destination for the cycling scene. And that's not just because of the 21 exciting MTB routes.
Cyclists have been flocking to Mayrhofen for many years now to cycle the popular routes to the Schlegeis Reservoir or Pitscher Joch whilst crossing the Alps.
The legendary Trans Alp Challenge has already been staged here several times over and Mayrhofen was a stage in the Giro d`Italia for the first time ever in year 2009.
