Aschenwald Gerhard

Our homely house was built in 1996 and is located in a rather sunny, quiet calm however central area in Ramsau im Zillertal. The apartment is approx. 70sqm and dispose a spacious fully equipped kitchen, two comfortable bedrooms with 3 - 4 beds. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, a bathtub, toilet as well as one separated WC.
Our position is ideal for many hiking adventures in summer months, or breath-taking adventures on snow in you winter holidays. The cross-country slope starts in front of our house. Your car should be on holiday, too therefor the bus station is only a little walkway.

The best ski areas in our valley are:

- Zell am Ziller - Ski Arena (3km away), you have access to the ski area Gerlos
- Schwendau - Zillertal 3000 (2km away), Horberg, Penken
- Mayrhofen - Ahorn (4km away)
- Tux - Hintertuxer Glacier (20km away) skiing is possible the whole year there

We would recommend an evening in a typical Tyrolean hut in Gerlosberg and afterwards you have the possibility to toboggan down to Hainzenberg. It is the longest toboggan track in the valley. And you surely will be inspired. The cable car will bring you to the mountain at 19:00 pm and 21:15 pm.
In summer months it is worth to use the cable cars and explore the wonderful possibilities at our mountains. Our marvellous unique mountain view will enthuse you.

The outdoor pool in Hippach is about 10 minutes march. If the weather isn’t that good you can find two indoor pools in the immediate surround. In addition our region is popular for paragliding and biking. The adrenalin-junkies may profit from the climbing facilities and a Flying Fox.
Our region is perfect for everyone, no question if with friends or with the family you won’t forget your holidays in the Zillertal.
