The European cottage, formerly Landshut hut is a shelter to 2,693 meters in the Zillertal Alps, which is managed by the Club Alpino Italiano in 1989 jointly by the Section Landshut of the German Alpine Club and the Section Sterzing.
Cancellation conditions: ·An accommodation agreement is deemed to be concluded when the Alpine Assoc. Section receives a request for a place to sleep at one of the section’s managed mountain huts and this reservation is confirmed by the mountain hut proprietor, or room is made available in the event of bookings at short notice. A legally binding contract is also concluded in the event of reservations made by word of mouth, telephone reservations in particular, unless otherwise agreed in writing. ·Mountain hut proprietors are entitled to charge a deposit of 50% of the entire overnight costs. In the event of cancellations made no less than 5 days prior to the intended arrival date, deposit payments will be reimbursed. Mountain hut proprietors are entitled to withhold 50% of the deposit for cancellations made 5 days and less (calculated from the first day of travel) prior to intended arrival date. ·Free cancellations are generally possible, if one of the following criteria are met: - Alpine dangers prevent access to the mountain hut (e.g. landslides & risk of avalanche) ·The guest can prove that the mountain hut proprietor has suffered no financial loss.
