Welcome to the "Walcherhütte" The Walcherhut lies on 1500 meter of sea height. It is an accomodation for 12 persons. The hut is directly at the "Zillertaler Höhenstrasse" In winter it is the ideal starting point for going skiing, snowboarding or walking. The bus stop for the ski coach is 1.6 kilometer away, with the bus you get directly to the ski areas from mayrhofen and also back in the evening. Summer: The hut is also in sumemr an ideal starting point for hikings and excursions. There are many footpaths, cycle tracks and mountainbike ways in the holiday region Mayrhofen - Hippach, For the special kick there is a rafting and a canoying tour on the Ziller. 11 km from the hut is an outdoor swimming pool with a volleyball place and a trampolin.
