Kid’s adventures in Scheulingwald Forest

Scheulingwald Forest is home to many secrets... We explore the hidden treasures of the forest in the protected area around Mayrhofen. This family hike takes us along narrow trails until “Schlangenkopffelsen - Snake Head Rock”. Using fun and games, we explore the forest with its plants and inhabitants together. The hike ends at the water playground in Scheulingwald Forest, where you can enjoy spending the rest of the afternoon. 

Especially suitable for children aged 3 - 9 years.

Forest Pixie Day at the Glocke Forest

We want to find out more about the Glocke Forest together, a fascinating forest on the edge of a ravine and a natural oasis full of botanical rarities and specialities. As a forest pixie, we will learn about the forest from the forest and explore the Glocke using all our imagination and creativity. Children and their thirst for knowledge are the focal point of this guided family walk.

Mythical Hike in Ginzling

The legend of the Dornauberger Giant is still told today in the mountaineering village of Ginzling. We set off to hunt for clues with a "giant expert" and will certainly discover exciting information about the lives of the giants.

The clattering of the mill...

Accompanied by much entertaining evidence of the life of mountain farmers, we hike through farms and narrow lanes to Schrofen Mill, where we grind some flour and discover various types of grains. We stop to watch the wildlife at the edge of a meadow and solve a few puzzles surrounding the historic Mitterstall Barn. Our efforts are then rewarded with a slice of farmhouse bread.

Family adventures alongside the Tuxbach Stream

We set off on an exciting adventure tour alongside the bubbling waters of Tuxbach Stream. During this leisurely hike we discover all kinds of interesting facts about the nature of the Tux Valley. After playing a few games, we build our very own raft, which we set sail down the Tuxbach Stream.
