26th December 2018 - “Stefani” night ski jumping at the ski jump facility at Dorf Haus in Mayrhofen.
"Stefani Day" is traditionally a day for the menfolk. It is also called “Bubentag - Boy’s Day” in the Zillertal Valley. This is due to the fact that over the Christmas holidays, men usually stayed at home with their families. On 26.12. they were allowed to return to the taverns and the “Stammtisch - regular’s table” to play cards, politicize and generally put the world to rights. In Mayrhofen, however, this day is dedicated to sport. Young ski jumpers from all over Tyrol compete at the traditional “Stefani-Ski Jumping” competition. Begins: 18.00 hrs
