Saturday, 3rd June 2017: Walking with Music in Ginzling
Meeting point: 10.30 a.m. Europahaus Mayrhofen (taxi to Ginzling)
After a short hike over the Penzingaste we meet Hans Fankhauser (Guinness book world record holder for the world's largest ashtray). Continue through the small Ofnach towards Tristenbachalm. After a little refreshment and lots of music, we will be back in Mayrhofen around 4 p.m.
Saturday, 10th 10th 2017: Walking with Music on the Penken
Meeting point: 10.30 a.m. Europahaus Mayrhofen
We will take the Penkenbahn cable car upt to the Action Mount Penken, where we walk past a beautiful mountain lake and, after a enjoying some music, we head on to the Granat Chapel wich is dedicated to the holy Engelbert Kolland from Zillertal. We return to the beautiful Penken Plateau. The whole walk is accompanied by music! Return to Mayrhofen approx. 4 p.m.
Friday, 22nd September 2017: Walking with Music in Zemmgrund
Meeting point: 10.00 a.m. Europahaus Mayrhofen (taxi to Gasthaus Breitlahner)
From the Gasthaus Breitlahner we walk into Zemmgrund to "Busch'n bind'n - bind flowers". That means that we are going to help prepare the magnificent headdresses for the cows when they are herded down the mountain during the annual "Almabtrieb" (cattle drive) home-coming celebrations. We allow this wonderful afternoon to draw to a close with music at the idyllically Klausenalm. Return to Mayrhofen at about 4 p.m.
Friday, 6th October 2017: Walking with Music into the Zillergrund
Meeting point: 10.30 a.m. Europahaus Mayrhofen (taxi to Zillergrund)
We walk from the Gasthaus In der Au along the famous smugglers route to Sundergrund, where we will spend the afternoon enjoying wonderful culinary and musical treats on the Kainzenalm at 1,265 m above sea level.
Return to Mayrhofen approx. 4 p.m.
