Springtime skiing in Zillertal

Pure sunshine, warmer temperatures – spreading feelings of happiness! As springtime slowly unfurls down in the valley, the first grasses and flowers push their heads through the snow and the landscape bursts into life.

Leisure Mount Ahorn and Action Mount Penken offer endless opportunities to enjoy springtime to the fullest in the Mayrhofen-Hippach holiday region. If snow levels remain sufficient, Mayrhofen ski resort will stay open until 18.04.!

Hintertux Glacier

Only 20 km from Mayrhofen you will find Austria's only year-round ski resort, the Hintertux Glacier, where you can ski up to 3,250 m  above sea level on 365 days of the year.

You can travel there comfortably and environmentally friendly without your own car – with the free ski bus service to Hintertux.

Away from the slopes

If your legs needs a rest from skiing, you can indulge in the essential pleasures of rest and relaxation at Erlebnisbad Mayrhofen Leisure Pool or take a gentle stroll sown Mayrhofen's shopping mile. 

You can also revel in the warmth of the sun whilst taking a romantic stroll amidst the spring landscapes or enjoying a spot of golf in Zillertal. Being out and about in nature is balm for the soul.
