The second edition of Mayrhofen Ultraks Zillertal will not take place on June 13th as planned. After consultation with the Mayrhofen Tourist Board, the Mayrhofen Ultraks Zillertal organization team has decided to postpone the trail running event to September 12, 2020.
In the current situation, the health of all participants, volunteers and service providers is of utmost importance. Since it is not yet foreseeable how the situation will develop in the next few weeks, the organizers have decided to postpone the event at an early stage. September offers the trail runners great conditions around Mayrhofen: Temperatures around 20 degrees, low risk of thunderstorms and rain as well as many hours of sunshine await the runners at the new date.
The second edition of the Mayrhofen Ultraks Zillertal offers the participants a new short distance. In 2020 the short course will lead the runners over the Brandberg and through the village directly to the finish line. The runners of the Middle will also enjoy a highly acclaimed finish over the main road in Mayrhofen.
For spectators and visitors there will be a great supporting programme with DJ and live broadcast of the race in the Ultraks Zone at the Europahaus. There will also be the opportunity to cheer on the runners at prominent points along the course.
In addition to a special obstacle course for children, the Ultraks offers a special evaluation for all Zillertalers in September - here it will be shown who is the best trail runner in the Zillertal.
The registrations across all platforms will be valid, the registration platforms are now open for September 13th.
The organisation team asks for your understanding for this step and is looking forward to welcoming the runners in Mayrhofen in autumn.
