The mountaineering village of Ginzling at 1,000 m above sea level is a magnet for hikers, climbers and mountain sports enthusiasts, especially in the summer months. In winter, the village is transformed into a romantic winter wonderland. Ginzling Winter Magic offers an unparalleled winter ambience: Cross-country skiing through the snow-covered countryside, thrilling Snowtube rides, or refreshments at Tristenbachalm mountain lodge followed by a spot of tobogganing.
Ginzling Winter Magic will be ceremoniously inaugurated on Sunday, 15th December at 15.00 hrs at Gasthaus Alt-Ginzling.
Nature Park House is the starting point for all Winter Magic Ginzling activities. All children and beginners can make their first attempts at skiing or snowboarding on the gentle slope serviced by the Floiten lift. The 6.4 km long cross-country ski trail also starts here. Snowtubing is a novel highlight in the Mayrhofen-Hippach holiday region. The run lies directly alongside Floiten lift and invites people of all ages to sample its thrilling delights. All kinds of fun is also offered by a thrilling tobogganing run from Tristenbachalm mountain lodge back down to the village. The Nature Park offers a guided snowshoe hike around Ginzling every Tuesday. Thursdays and Fridays are devoted to ski touring. An introductory course is always held on Thursdays and those interested can sign up for a guided ski tour on Fridays. Details on these offers can be found on www.myzillertal.app.

How to get to Ginzling Winter Magic:
By car from Mayrhofen towards Ginzling. There are various parking possibilities In Ginzling at the Nature Park House, the music pavilion, in front of Alt-Ginzling restaurant and near the church.
The public bus service from Mayrhofen to Ginzling (No. 4102) can be used by all guests free of charge who are staying in the Mayrhofen-Hippach holiday region with a valid guest card. The ski lift, snowtubing, tobogganing and start of the small cross-country ski run are all located at the Naturparkhaus bus stop. All Mayrhofen-Hippach holiday region guests can use the bus to and from Ginzling free of charge with a valid guest card.
