Schlegeis 3000 SKYRACE & TRAILRUN

Description

Giving up is not an option!

Do you like to push yourself to your limits? Where others think about giving up, do you really get going? You are confident, dizzy and climbing passages give you an extra kick? Then you should secure a starting place at the Schlegeis 3000 Skyrace. For all those who are looking for an increase to the usual trail running.

The backdrop for the extreme sports event is spectacular! With the 3000m of the Zillertal Alps as a backdrop, you start right at the dam of the Schlegeis reservoir. The 33km trail now offers an incredible 2,380 meters of altitude, as well as several climbing passages, gravel fields and exposed rock ridges. The route takes you from Pfitscherjoch Haus via Schrammachkees, Riepenkopf to Olpererhütte. From there we continue to the Friesenbergscharte and over the Petersköpfl back to the dam.

The trail is provided with seven checkpoints that you have to pass. These checkpoints not only provide orientation, but also ensure that the competition is conducted fairly and that none of your competitors shortens the course. To ensure that your energy reaches the finish line, charging stations are set up for refreshment on the way. Here you’ll get everything you need to endure to the bitter end – including encouraging words.
