Breathe deeply in the Grawand forest with Nina Lorenz at the Grawandhütte

Description

Breathe deeply

"When the mind comes to rest, the body does too."

A mental training & forest bathing / Shinrin Yoku programme designed by Nina Lorenz for physical & mental health and more joie de vivre. In our hectic times, we are online 24/7. When we do find peace and quiet, we have forgotten how to do nothing. Just be offline.

The aim of the workshop: Recharge your batteries and ground yourself with the help of the forest, supported by the beautiful Swiss stone pine forest around the Grawand Hütte and its effects. Enjoy the forest mindfully and with all your senses and leave the carousel of everyday thoughts behind you. How do I activate my energy resources to better deal with the worries and stresses of everyday life?

Practical exercises to do at home. Shinrin Yoku is the Japanese term for forest bathing (immersion in the forest) and is a recognised form of therapy. Many universities have been conducting medical research into the health-promoting effects of spending time in the forest on body, mind and soul for several decades. It has not only been discovered that forest bathing under professional guidance not only lowers blood pressure, pulse and stress, but also reduces anxiety and depression and can even reduce the risk of cancer.

Workshop Programme

Day 1:

Arrival: Move into your room by midday

Afternoon: Introduction to forest bathing

Practice in the forest

Dinner together

Day 2:

Morning: Workshop "Detox your mind"

Lunch followed by in-depth exercises in the forest

Day 3:

Check-out and departure or free time

On Friday afternoon, you can hike from the car park at Alpengasthof Breitlahner to the Grawandhütte in one and a half hours and gain distance from everyday life with every metre.

Nina awaits you at this special place of power in the Zemmgrund. After the forest baths, you will enjoy an Ayurvedic dinner together, lovingly prepared by the hut's landlady Barbara.

Depending on your booking, you will spend the night in a single, double or triple pinewood room at the Grawandhütte.
