Reopening of the Nature Park House Zillertal Alps
In the meantime, you can already get a pretty good idea of what visitors can expect in Ginzling in the future. The reconstruction of the building and the implementation of the nature garden around the nature park house are largely completed. Over the winter, the new exhibition will move into the house and will then extend over two floors and more than 500 m². It is dedicated to the topics of earth history, geology, crystals and minerals and is created around the unique collector's work of Walter Ungerank and other mineral collectors. Adults as well as children and locals as well as guests can then immerse themselves in the geological history and the treasures inside the Zillertal Alps. A main focus will be on the Zillertal garnet. An attractive climbing and play landscape is embedded in the natural garden, where young & old can balance and test their climbing skills. The new outdoor area is rounded off by a spacious terrace exposed to the south. And in the parking area in front of the house, the possibility is created to "refuel" an electric car at two charging points.
