Night experience in the nature park
Description
Stars in the darkness of the mountains
The night sky in the Zillertal Alps Nature Park is an impressive natural spectacle. The Zillertal Alps are one of the regions in Austria where you can still experience the dark night sky with its shining stars. The stars can be observed particularly well from the Schlegeis. We take a cab from Mayrhofen train station to Schlegeis at around 1,800 m above sea level. After an introduction to the cosmos and the Milky Way, we observe the summer constellations with a telescope. Our expert will of course also be happy to answer your questions about the night sky, night photography or the animal world, which is quite active at night. The tour is accompanied by a nature park guide who is also a passionate nature and landscape photographer.
