Description

A classic right on your doorstep

Lace up your hiking boots, strap on your backpack and off you go! The first part of the Leonhard Stock Trail is quite challenging, but the effort is worth it.Through the gaps in the spruce forest, we have a top view of Mayrhofen and its local mountains as we climb towards the Tuxertal valley. We finally reach Finkenberg, birthplace and home of the successful ski racer and Olympic champion Leonhard Stock. We continue hiking through the Glocke, a fairy-tale gorge forest above the deeply cut Tuxbachklamm gorge. The last piece we walk along the rushing Zemmbach leisurely back to Mayrhofen.

Good to know:

Character: moderately difficult hike, partly steep mountain paths, 400 meters in altitude over 10 km.

Duration: approx.5 hrs.; there of 3,5 hrs. pure walking time

Meeting point: 09:30 am | Europahaus Mayrhofen

Fee: adults € 15.00 - children (7-14 years) € 7.50 - guests of the nature park partner businesses, as well as nature park members free of charge
