In prenatal yoga, together we create a community and a safe place where you can share all the concerns around pregnancy, birth and the upcoming birth of your baby. Prenatal yoga is specifically designed to meet the needs of a pregnant woman's body, mind and emotions. It helps relieve common pregnancy aches and pains, mental and emotional issues, and prepares the body for birth and postpartum recovery. We also incorporate pranayamas (breathing exercises), visualizations, and meditations that can ease sleepless nights, anxiety, birth experiences, and anything else you may be feeling before the baby is born. No pre-existing yoga kwowlegde is required to attend a pregnancy class. Physically, pre-birth yoga is known to provide relief from: Tight hips, lower back pain, upper/middle back pain, neck and shoulder discomfort or headaches, swelling in hands and feet acid reflux, and nausea.
