Sunrise above the Tux valley

Torsee, Ramsjoch and Grüblspitze
Getting up early is the motto of the sunrise tour. With a minibus we drive to the Nasse Tux Alm at 1,843m. From there we hike leisurely to the beautiful Torsee and enjoy the sunrise there. In high summer, the shoreline covered with white blooming cotton grass makes the mountain lake a popular photo motive. On the tour we learn more about alpine farming and the history of the Tuxertal. After taking wonderful photographs, we hike to the Ramsjoch and to the summit of the Grüblspitze. From here we descend to the Eggalmbahn, which takes us comfortably back down to the valley. In our luggage are binoculars from Swarovski Optik and many tips for nature observation. In September the sun rises half an hour later, that's why we start later then.

Character: medium-difficulty mountain hike with approx. 700 hm in the ascent.
Duration: approx. 7 hours; 4,5 hours of it pure walking time
