Männergesangverein Mayrhofen

36 song-loving Mayrhofen citizens came together to cultivate and maintain the tradition of singing and making music and, last but not least, to bring joy to other people.
Description
The Mayrhofen Men's Choral Society ...
was founded in 1930 during a difficult economic period. 36 song-loving Mayrhofen citizens came together to cultivate and maintain the tradition of singing and making music and, last but not least, to bring joy to other people.
After many ups and downs, the Mayrhofen Men's Choral Society can look back on 85 years of existence next year (2015).
Today, the Mayrhofen men's choir has 22 active members and is highly regarded and recognized in Mayrhofen and the surrounding area for its tireless idealistic efforts at village and church festivities.
With its singing, the men's choir ensures the promotion and preservation of genuine and old songs (Tyrolean folk songs and songs by Austrian and foreign composers), but is not closed to the new.
