Ginzling, in the beginning was the mountaineering
The small mountain village of Ginzling is located at an altitude of 1,000 m in the middle of the Zillertal Alps Nature Park. 150 years ago the pioneers of the mountaineering conquered the summits of the Zillertal Alps. Their enthusiastic reports were followed by more and more guests with rope and pimple, and a village grew out of the small settlement. Now the mountaineer village and the nature park have come up with something special and a geocache trail for discovering the alpine history was built in the local area.
With GPS equipment and much curiosity you have the opportunity to raise the treasure while discovering the alpine history of the mountaineering village. In the development and implementation of the project, the sustainability of the natural park was of great importance.
