E-Bike Tours in Zillertal
Cycling in the mountains made easy
The wonderful feeling of cycling almost effortlessly through the beautiful landscapes of Mayrhofen-Hippach holiday region and its tributary valleys is hard to beat.
A good e-bike is not only lots of fun; it enables every "pedal pusher" to conquer the idyllic (mountain) routes.
.. wonderfully relaxing
17 kilometres in length, Stilluptal is the shortest tributary valley of Mayrhofen and is located in the Zillertal Alps Nature Park. A winding road with an uphill gradient of up to 15% leads to the Stillup Reservoir at 1,116 metres above sea level, where you can indulge in the essential pleasures of rest and relaxation in the midst of idyllic landscapes.
Measuring 25 kilometres in length, Zillergrund is the source valley of the Ziller River and stretches from the Austro-Italian border to Mayrhofen. The valley contains a reservoir of the same name and begins at a height of 2,658 metres above sea level and ends in an easily accessible, wooded ravine near Mayrhofen.
Zemmgrund - Schlegeis
... like being in paradise
The impressive Schlegeis Reservoir with its 131 metre high dam lies at an altitude of 1,800 metres above sea level - an imposing technical construction, which can be viewed from the inside during a guided tour.
Pine forests, the sparkling waters of the reservoir and glacial ice impart lasting impressions amidst unspoilt natural landscapes. Numerous restaurants serving local delicacies line the alpine roads of the tributary valleys and invite you to stop to enjoy welcome refreshments. The toll roads (attractive discounts with the Guest Card) are open from May to October. The side valleys can also be conveniently accessed by public transport with the Z-Card or mobility ticket.
