Trail Running Routes
Hippach Trail (easy to moderate)
An easy and gently undulating running trail.
From the Leisure Centre car park, the trail leads uphill along the road at first and then along a walking path to Schormis. After an ascent the route leads through the forest to Schwendau, past old farms and beautiful gardens. Next to a stream, the trail leads to the Ziller River – and the flat part of the route – back to the original starting point. This route offers everything you could possibly wish for; forests, meadows, streams and is an ideal training route.

Brandberg Trail (moderate to difficult)
From Europahaus, the trail leads initially towards Durst, through the protected „Scheulingwald“ forest and past a children's playground. After crossing the Ziller River, the route leads along an asphalt road in the direction of Silluptal until the road toll booth. From here the route branches off to the east into the beautiful Zillergrund Valley, where the paved road ends and a gravel trail begins. After crossing the River Ziller again, a steep trail leads through a forest to Brandberg. From there it is another short asphalt section and then back on to a long downhill forest trail (exposed tree roots) until you meet up with the section used for the ascent.
