Since 1988 the Schneekarhütte is owned and leaded by the Family Bair on the top of the ski area of Mayrhofen on 2.250 Meter above the sea. The unique place on the plateau and the lovely runned chalet will sort out a special feeling to see the mystic way of mountain accommodation. One of the leading points at the Schneekarhütte is the food and beverages menu. A lot of the products what are served are coming from the own organic-certified farm, where a lot of love is going into. The focus is also to bring local dishes and ingredients to the food menu. The family Bair has also started with the highest built wine cellar in Austria, to offer a great selection from the new and old wine world, as fine selected Champagne from small wineries in France. In the year 2012 the building got rebuilt, with the focus on Suites and nice rooms. Seven of Ten rooms are individually designed by local artists for example, high rated materials and great ideas. The spa area allows the perfect combination after skiing, to have a great day at the mountain. At nights, for the overnight guests, it will be a delicious, unique evening with a fine five dishes dinner and being the first at the slopes in the morning.
