3 Valley Meet

The 3-valley meet on 21st & 22nd September heralds the start of the Zillertal Farmers' & Musical Autumn, during which the Zillertal, Ahrntal and Tauferer Tal valleys celebrate their abiding friendship for a 9th time. In keeping with the motto, "Mountains separate, but ridgelines connect", the shared history and tradition of these valleys will be consolidated and celebrated anew over the course of these two days.

Farmers' & Musical Autumn

Two weekends - 27th & 28th September and 4th & 5th October 2024 will see the centre of Mayrhofen transformed into a colourful marketplace. Sample regional products, admire exquisite handicrafts and enjoy the entertaining sounds of authentic Zillertal folkmusic.

So, what's on the programme?

  • Great food and handicraft market Farmers, family run agricultural enterprises and local associations from the Ziller Valley offer top quality regional products and homemade delicacies. Moreover, various exhibitors will be presenting their works of art and offering visitors an insight into their world of handicrafts. You can browse and shop to your heart's content at various market stalls, where your appetite will undoubtedly be whetted by the varied and traditional fare.

  • Authentic folk music & dance from Zillertal Folk music and the Zillertal Valley are deeply intertwined. A special focus is placed on authentic folk music (with no amplification) at the Zillertal Famers' & Musical Autumn, accompanied by traditional "thigh-slapping" folk dancers.
