Botanical hike through a fabulous gorge forest
The nature discovery trail is located in the protected landscape area Glocke, an island of botanical and geological rarities in Finkenberg. There are only three such relicts from the post-glacial period in the entire eastern Alps - one of them is here! Particularly impressive are the Tuxbach gorge, cut up to 70 m deep, the beautiful beech forest as well as the legendary Devil's Bridge, a wooden structure from 1876. Let us tell you about the habitat of this special forest, its historical use, the unique flora and special geology of the Glocke. Mystics, numerous secrets and interesting stories await you on this exciting circular hike.

Character: easy hike in Finkenberg (120 Hm).
Duration: approx. 4 hours; of which 1.5 hours are pure walking time
Dates: every Wednesday from 28.05. - 08.10.2025
Meeting point: 10.00 a.m. | Finkenberg, parking lot opposite the church
Contribution towards expenses: adults € 15.00 - guests of the nature park partner businesses, as well as nature park members are free of charge
