RECOMMENDED PICNIC SPOTS - LAKE AHORNSEE: Relax on cozy loungers, benches, and wooden tables while enjoying the sound of gently flowing water. - FILZENKOGEL: After a short 45-minute hike, you'll reach the highest point of the AhornPlateau. - LEISURE SQUARE: Located right at the top station of the Ahornbahn. For sunset moments, the Eagle‘s Eye viewing platform is the perfect spot.
GOOD TO KNOW - Price (excluding cable car ticket): € 15 per person (Adults and kids / bookable online only) - Booking deadline: Friday by 7.00 a.m. at the latest - Pickup: From 5.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m. at the mountain station of the Ahornbahn - Important: Backpack and contents are rental items! Please return them the same evening by 9.15 p.m. at the mountain station. - Issued against valid photo ID (driver's license, ID card, etc.) - Give out of picnic backpacks in good weather only (exception: Zillertal Specialties Evening on 01 August 2025) - Last descent: 9.30 p.m. - Limited number of picnic backpacks available - Book your Sunset Gondola ride here!
