Furtschaglhaus 2295m - Schlegeisspeicher

Description

The Furtschaglhaus is situated at 2,295 metres and was built in 1889 by the Berlin section of the German Alpine Club. The hut was completely renovated between 1989 and 1992 and has had its own hydroelectric power station since 2002. The Furtschaglhaus offers approx. 120 beds.

The south-facing terrace with a view of the highest Zillertal peaks (Hochfeiler and Gr. Möseler) invites you to take a break in our cosy hut. A well-heated dining room and drying room enable mountaineers to enjoy a cosy stay in the hut even on cold and damp days.
