In our apartment at Villa Vagabund, you will find a spacious, bright, and friendly accommodation that offers almost 70 m² of space for a relaxing stay in the beautiful Zillertal. Just a few steps from both cable cars (6 minutes to the Penkenbahn, 12 minutes to the Ahornbahn) yet quietly located, you will enjoy the perfect combination of a central location and relaxation.
Villa Vagabund is slightly away from the town center and is surrounded by an idyllic garden that invites you to linger. The charming house itself has an impressive history: built almost 100 years ago, it was once the home of Dr. Lambert Raitmayr, the first trained physician of Mayrhofen and a highly respected honorary citizen of the region.
A special highlight: the apartment is part of a cultural project. Since the summer of 2024, the villa will be inhabited by members of the cultural association Vagabund. The separate apartment in the house is rented out only for 2-3 months a year – the rest of the time it serves as a place for creative and cultural expression. By booking with us, you support our cultural events and promote cultural diversity in Mayrhofen and beyond.
