Zillertal Tourismus GmbH in Schlitters was founded in 2005 for the international marketing of Zillertal. Its main tasks include marketing or action planning in defined international markets as well as the image and theme strategy of the valley in harmony with the local tourism associations and infrastructure providers. Another focus is on the sustainable development and promotion of the region for future generations. Together with the tourism associations Erste Ferienregion, Zell-Gerlos, Mayrhofen-Hippach and Tux-Finkenberg as well as the local mountain railways, Zillertal Tourismus GmbH informs its guests about the wide range of year-round offers and products both in the valley and on the mountain. With almost 7 million overnight stays in the calendar year 2022 and 1.5 million guest arrivals, the Zillertal is one of the largest tourism destinations in the entire DACH region.
