Climbing routes are classified in difficulty levels ranging from A (easy) to E (extremely difficult). That being said, the simple via ferrata are also suitable for non climbers. However, you will still need appropriate equipment. Recommended basic equipment: climbing harness, helmet, via ferrata set with fall impact absorbers, gloves and suitable footwear.
NEW ROPE SUSPENSION BRIDGE ON THE ZIMMEREBEN VIA FERRATA
The new “Himmelsbrücke" bridge on the Zimmereben via ferrata is a 48-metre-long rope suspension bridge that floats high above Mayrhofen and offers breathtaking panoramic views. As the first of its kind, it leads directly into the guest garden of Gasthaus Zimmereben – combining alpine adventure with a well-earned culinary break.
