8TH MAYRHOFEN ULTRAKS ZILLERTAL - EVENT INFORMATION

The Mayrhofen Ultraks Zillertal returns for its eighth edition on 4 and 5 September 2026. This spectacular trail running event offers a choice of distances to suit everyone from first-time trail runners to experienced endurance athletes. Around 1,900 participants from more than 20 countries are expected to take on the challenge. Competitors can choose from seven routes, ranging from 7 to 107 kilometres, each winding through the breathtaking scenery of the Zillertal Alps. With climbs totalling up to 8,500 metres of elevation gain, every finish line in Mayrhofen represents an unforgettable achievement. Young runners can once again look forward to the popular obstacle course designed especially for children and teenagers.

"SPAREFROH MINI-ULTRAKS“ (CA. 450 metres per lap) The trail runners of tomorrow can once again enjoy a fun race designed especially for children. Traffic Diversions:

Malzer Junction: Traffic will be diverted as follows:

• From the west (Einfahrt Mitte):

  towards the south (Hauptstraße) and east (Pfarrer-Krapf-Straße)

• From the east (Pfarrer-Krapf-Straße):

  towards the west (Einfahrt Mitte) and south (Hauptstraße)

Temporary Traffic Restrictions:

On Friday, 4 September 2026, brief traffic restrictions can be expected from around 16.45 hrs during the race start, as well as on Saturday, 5 September 2026 between 07.00 and 19.00 hrs during race starts and finishes in the following areas: Upper Hauptstraße, Malzer Junction (Einfahrt Mitte), Pfarrer-Krapf-Straße, Fischerstraße, Tuxerstraße, and Rauchenwaldgasse.

Car Park Closures:

Wednesday, 2 September 2026 from 18.00 hrs to Sunday, 6 September 2026, 12.00 hrs

• All parking spaces around Marktgemeinde Mayrhofen Town Hall

Road Closures:

Friday, 4 September 2026 from 13.00 hrs until Saturday, 5 September 2026, 21.00 hrs The Lower Hauptstraße will be closed between Mo's (No. 417) and Haus Knunbauer (No. 408).

Important information for deliveries: Deliveries to restaurants, shops and accommodation providers on Untere Hauptstraße will only be possible on 4 September until 11.30 hrs.

Parking permits are available from the Mayrhofen Tourist Board Information Office during normal opening hours.
