Tappenalm

Description

The Tappenalm, located in the Horberg ski area, below the Tappenalm lift, has been run by the Wechselberger family for 15 years. Formerly known as "Josefs Bio Hütte", the hut was renamed "Jausenstation Tappenalm" in winter 2008/2009. The Tappenalm is a small family-run hut where you can enjoy the wonderful views in peace and quiet, far away from the hustle and bustle and apres-ski music. The menu ranges from homemade goulash soup to roast potatoes, schnitzel, bratwurst, bacon and cheese sandwiches to yeast dumplings and apple or curd cheese strudel. A chilled Zillertal beer and a wide variety of home-distilled schnapps round off the drinks menu. The homemade egg liqueur tastes particularly delicious. Why not pop into the "Tappenalm" and see for yourself! The Wechselberger family will be happy to spoil you with culinary delights on your skiing days.
