Zillertal – Ahrntal & Tauferertal Valleys
meet for a festival of "cross-border" friendship!
The 3-valley meet on 21st & 22nd September heralds the start of the Zillertal Farmers' & Musical Autumn, during which the Zillertal, Ahrntal and Tauferer Tal valleys celebrate their abiding friendship for a 9th time. In keeping with the motto, "Mountains separate, but ridgelines connect", the shared history and tradition of these valleys will be consolidated and celebrated anew over the course of these two days.
PROGRAMME: Saturday, 21st September 2024
Ca. 15.00 hrs get2gether at Mayrhofen Music Pavilion and
subsequent visit to "Blechlawine im Dorf" on the village High Street
Finale at Brück’n Stadl (until 01.00 hrs on Sunday).
Sunday, 22nd September 2024 Pageant followed by celebrations at the Forest Festival Area
9.15 hrs Marching in of the town bands and riflemen
9.30 hrs Welcome and official reception
10.00 hrs Field mass followed by festive procession (in front of the "Marktgemeindeamt" Town Hall) and on to the Forest Festival Area with celebrations lasting until ca 18.00 hrs.
