EAGLE TICKET: Ascent and descent incl. Birds of Prey Show
Your very own blockbuster awaits you high up in the mountains of Tyrol at MOUNTOPOLIS - the Mayrhofner Bergbahnen World of Adventure. The setting: Eagle’s Stage on Mount Ahorn, Europe‘s highest Birds of Prey Station at 2,000 metres above sea level. The backdrop: The impressive peaks of the Zillertal Valley. The stars: Eagles, buzzards, owls and the like. The genre: A mix of action film and animal documentary with a healthy measure of emotion that will make your heart swell. Featuring: a screenplay fi lled with effortless power and gentle strength, a graceful awareness of life and intoxicating freedom. Since 2009, the “kings of the skies” feel very much at home here amidst the spectacular panorama of the Zillertal Alps, as their quarters are built entirely from wood, stone and earth and blend in perfectly with the natural surroundings. The three passionate falconers, Waltraud, Thomas and Didi Wechselberger, know just how to direct eagle „Steppi“, falcons „Hansi & Kaya“, eagle owls „Billi & Virginia“, harri’s hawk „Lanny“ and red-tailed hawks „Ashok & Laika“ during their exciting show.
After completing the purchase, you will receive a confirmation email containing a QR-Code that allows access to the gondola. It is not possible to collect tickets from the cashiers or pick-up machines.
You can reach the Eagle’s Stage Ahorn easily in a 15-minute walk from the Ahornbahn mountain station.
Birds of Prey Show daily (except Tuesday) at 02.00 p.m. Lastest ascent with Ahornbahn should be at 01.00 p.m.
Admission until 02.00 p.m. at the latest.
In case of bad weather (rain, strong wind, etc.) there will be no Birds of Prey shows.
Visitors can enter the Eagle’s Stage Ahorn free of charge from July to October, daily (except Wednesday and Friday) between 10.00 a.m. and 12.00 p.m. Falconers with their Birds of Prey are looking forward to seeing you there.
Barrier-free access to the Eagle's Stage Ahorn. We offer a transport from the mountain station of the Ahornbahn for handicapped persons and wheelcair users on request.
We recommend to wear closed shoes.

Please note that all dogs must be on a leash and muzzled for all our cable cars and offers on the mountain. Muzzles are available at our ticket offices.
