Accessibility Statement

Zillertal Booking GmbH, the operator of this e-commerce website, places great importance on making our online content accessible to as many people as possible – regardless of physical or technical conditions. Our goal is to make our website accessible in accordance with the applicable legal requirements for digital accessibility, particularly Directive (EU) 2016/2102, the Web Accessibility Act (WZG), and the Accessibility Enhancement Act (BFSG), where applicable.

This accessibility statement applies to the entire website.

Status of Compliance with the Requirements

The website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at conformance level AA and with the European standard EN 301 549. This means that some content is not yet fully accessible.

Non-Accessible Content

We continuously strive to improve our content. However, there are currently areas that are not fully accessible:

1. Non-compliant content (incompatibility with accessibility requirements)

  • Alternative texts: Some older product images or decorative graphics do not have meaningful alternative texts or lack them entirely. These are being gradually updated.

  • Keyboard accessibility: Not all interactive elements (e.g., dropdown menus, modal dialogs) are fully operable via keyboard.

  • PDF documents: Embedded PDFs (e.g., terms and conditions, sample invoices) do not fully comply with WCAG criteria in terms of structure, alternative texts, and reading order.

  • Videos without audio description: Some videos on the website do not include audio descriptions that convey visual content to users with visual impairments.

  • Compatibility with assistive technologies: The website is not fully compatible with all assistive technologies, such as various screen readers or special software for motor impairments.

  • Unadjusted timeouts: There are areas on the website where the time expires after a fixed limit. This can pose challenges for users with disabilities who need more time.

2. Content for which a disproportionate burden is claimed Some older media content (e.g., product videos without subtitles or audio descriptions) cannot be promptly adapted. We strive to make new content accessible while older content is gradually revised.

Creation and Review of This Statement This accessibility statement was created on 26.06.2025 and last updated on 26.06.2025.

The accessibility assessment was carried out through:

  • a self-evaluation using tools such as WAVE and AXE

  • as well as spot-check manual testing with screen readers (e.g., VoiceOver)
