Description

A summit with sweeping views – featuring a special event for the solar eclipse

We’ll take a taxi from Lanersbach to the Geiselalm (1,996 m), a rustic alpine hut located at the far end of this beautiful valley basin. From here, we hike to the Geiseljoch with a short detour toward the Nafi ngalm, where the mountain trail toward the Halslspitze (2,574 m) begins. After a break at the panoramic summit, we continue over the Nurpensjoch to the idyllic Rastkogel Lakes. From here, the trail leads us back to the Geiselalm. Since the partial solar eclipse is particularly well-viewed from the Halslspitze, we’re organizing a special tour on August 12 with special binoculars for this unique event. Please bring a headlamp, warm clothing, and drinks for the solar eclipse!
