Volksbühne Mayrhofen - theatre production "Zur schwarzen Katz"

At the nightclub "Zur schwarzen Katz", Madame Lola is about to retire. She would love to hand over her business, along with her regular customers, to Lilli, a Romanian employee. Mona and Lilli have been working for her for years and feel right at home there.

But there’s a tricky lease agreement that’s about to expire. Lilli tries her luck with the mayor, but he is not so easy to reach. Fortunately, Eugen, his secretary, is there to help. He even manages to protect his boss from the hysterical former mayor, who is playing a convoluted game.

A lovable vagabond also appears at the office, looking for a winter shelter, and Lilli quickly takes him home. Why does the police suddenly arrive at the Schwarze Katz, and why is there even a bomb threat? Could young Miss Heidi have something to do with it… or perhaps even the dominatrix? A police inspector, with the instincts of an FBI agent, will get to the bottom of it and solve the case — for sure!
