Ice Climbing in Ginzling
The new Zillertal Ice Climbing Park in Ginzling is located alongside the Zamserbach stream at an altitude of 1,310 metres above sea level and is divided into two sectors. The ice routes are around 35 metres long and are suitable for both beginners and experienced ice climbers. Access, opening times & parking
Access to the climbing routes is via Alpengasthaus Breitlahner, from where it takes around five minutes to reach the Zamserbach gorge. IMPORTANT: ice formations can make the path very slippery – for your safety, crampons must be worn!
The ice climbing park is open daily from 9:00 to 16:00 hrs.
Ice climbing is only permitted during official opening hours.
Signs indicate whether the park is open or closed: "Open“ (green) or "Closed“ (red).
Parking is available at Alpengasthaus Breitlahner (subject to charge).
