Steinbock March
It is a long-standing institution in Ginzling; no summer is truly complete without the Zillertal Steinbock March! On Saturday, 17.08.2026, and for the 56th year in succession, hikers, climbers and trail runners will embark on this 30 km long trek from Ginzling to Breitlahner Alpine Guest House - not along the road, but over hill and dale.
Steinbock Trail Run
All runners will enjoy the enhanced experience as the Steinbock March will be startet with a mass start and a chip timing system an 05:30. Local matadors Markus Kröll and Georg Egger can already hardly wait!
Zillertal Alps Nature Park Festival
The Zillertal Alps Nature Park Festival is being held again this year, so that families, children and pleasure hikers can also enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the Zillertal Alps. An exciting children's and family programme with adventure and handicraft stations, as well as the Austrian Alpine Association climbing tower guarantees endless fun for younger nature lovers. Of course there will be an exciting themed program again this year. We can’t reveal any details yet, apart from the fact that it will be a real cracker!
Celebrate in style!
No pain no gain, which is why celebrations are held after the completed hike. There is something suitable for all ages. Children’s programme and prize-giving ceremony - an excellent entertainment programme for the whole family.
