Conditions of Participation
The competition is organised by Zillertal Booking GmbH, the Mayrhofen-Hippach Tourist Association and Mayrhofner Bergbahnen, hereinafter referred to as the Operator or Organiser. Employees of Zillertal Booking GmbH, the Tourism Association Mayrhofen-Hippach and Mayrhofner Bergbahnen as well as their relatives are excluded from participation.
The clsoing date for entires is 12.04.2026.
To take part in the competition, you must complete and send the entry form provided. Entries received after the closing date will not be entered into the draw.
Participation in the competition is free. The prize of the stay refers to a maximum of 2 travellers.
Natural persons who have reached the age of 18 are eligible to participate. Participation is not restricted to customers of the Organiser and is not dependent on the purchase of goods or services. Should a participant be restricted in his/her legal capacity, the consent of his/her legal representative is required. In addition, the Operator reserves the right, at its own discretion, to exclude persons from participation if there are justified reasons, for example
(a) in the event of manipulation in connection with access to the competition or with the implementation of the competition, (b) in the event of violations of these conditions of participation, (c) in the event of unfair practices or (d) in the event of submitting false or misleading information in connection with participation in the competition.
The winners will be determined by a random draw of all participants. The draw will be made without recourse to the courts. No correspondence will be entered into regarding the competition. The conditions of participation are subject to the law of the Republic of Austria. The place of jurisdiction is Klagenfurt.
The winners of the draw will be informed of their win in good time by means of a separate e-mail.

The announcement of the winners is made without guarantee. Cash payment of the winnings is not possible. Winning claims are not transferable to other persons. If the winner does not respond to being informed of their win within a period of 3 weeks, the prize may be transferred to another participant. The prize will be redeemed after consultation with the Mayrhofen-Hippach Tourist Association or the Mayrhofner Bergbahnen Cable Car Co.
Publication of Comments As part of the competition, the organizers reserve the right to publish particularly beautiful, creative or inspiring comments or entries in anonymized form on the website of the Mayrhofen-Hippach Tourist Board, on mayrhofen.at, and on their associated social media channels. Publication will take place exclusively in anonymized form (e.g. “Anna M.” or “Participant from Vienna”) and without disclosure of full personal data. No further use will be made of the entries.
Should any provision of these conditions of participation be or become invalid in whole or in part, the validity of the remaining provisions of these conditions of participation shall not be affected as a result. In place of the invalid provision, the legally permissible provision that comes closest in commercial terms to the meaning and purpose expressed in the invalid provision shall apply. The same shall apply in the event of a statutory loophole in these Terms and Conditions of Participation.

This supplementary data protection declaration contains some additional information to our general data protection policy for the Winter Competition, hereinafter referred to as the "Campaign".

In order to participate in the competition, it is necessary to provide personal data. You hereby confirm that the personal details you provide, in particular your first name, surname and email address, are true and correct. In the event of a win, additional information will be required in the form of your postal address in order to process the shipment.
The Organiser wishes to point out that all personal data of the participant will neither be passed on to third parties nor made available to them for use without their consent. Furthermore, the Organiser assures that the data will only be processed for the purpose of handling the competition in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR. Unless there is an obligation to comply with statutory retention periods, all personal data stored in connection with the campaign will be deleted no later than two years after the end of the competition, the final thank you email, notification of the winners and handover of the prizes
In the event of a win, the winner agrees to the publication of his/her name and place of residence in the advertising media used by the Organiser. This includes the announcement of the winner on the website of the operator and its social media platforms.
Publication of Anonymized Comments By participating, you also agree that your submitted comment – if selected – may be published in anonymized form on the organizer’s channels (website, newsletter or social media). No personal data (such as full name, email address or postal address) will be disclosed. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in showcasing community contributions and public relations).
Your consent can be revoked at any time without affecting the lawfulness of the processing undertaken thus far. Revocation must be made in writing to Zillertal Booking GmbH, Lakeside B03 A-9020 Klagenfurt am Wörthersee or to office@zillertalbooking.at. After revocation of consent, the collected and stored personal data of the participant will be deleted immediately.
