Mount Penken offers two paragliding launch sites:
Launch site east – right at the Kombibahn mountain station
Launch site south – near the Knorren mountain station
If the weather is not quite up to flying, pilots with their equipment can use the gondolas to travel back down to the valley for free.

WINTER HIKING PATH PENKEN The WinterHikingPath Penken takes you from the Kombibahn mountain station to Penkenjoch and provides fantastic views of Mount Ahorn and the Stilluptal Valley.
The path leads past the two paragliding launch sites, where you can watch the paragliders take off to the skies.
